And so it began...
The end of the 2017 school year marked the start of a two-year renovation of Grant High School; the students in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years were housed at Marshall High School.
On June 3, 2017, the US Grant High School Alumni Association held an open house to give alums, neighbors, future students, and friends one last look at the school before the remodeling began. The Alumni program began with a groundbreaking ceremony, followed by a chance to stroll the halls and visit with friends. This was followed by an alumni basketball game in the "new gym" (ironically the new gym was replaced, but the old gym is now the art center after the remodel). A program in the auditorium concluded the all-day event.
